Every once in a while it is interesting to look at what the really far left (Communists, Marxists, etc) think.
FWIW, not surprisingly, they don't want Romney in the White House and want more gun control. Their stand on gun control mirrors the USSR's strict control on guns and, of course, they hate capitalism and want basically unlimited government. Citizens with guns pose a potential threat to unlimited government power, and of course, the state will protect everyone.
Typical of leftist arrogance. Allow an entire barrel of fruit to rot because of one spoiled apple. Their arguments are illogical. Take the VT tragedy for example. The author blamed the massacre on easy access to guns. If that claim is correct, why haven't we witnessed millions of similar mass shootings. The truth is, licensed concealed carry was banned on VT's campus all while school officials overly protected the assailant's threatening mental history. Had the latter been flagged for firearms dealers, the gun sales would never have occurred. Instead, VT's victims had their natural individual right to armed self-defense blocked. My wife always reminds me, "Another word for arrogance is stupidity.".

ReplyDeleteThanks. There are more law-abiding people carrying guns, buying guns, etc. in this country than at any time in U.S. history Gun crime has gone down--both numbers and rates. When Texas passed license concealed carry years ago, the left predicted a blood bath. I imagine the same has happened in other states. The bloodbaths never materialized.
