Spy Drones in U.S. Skies

Look up in the sky! It's Bird! It's a Plane! It's a government spy drone.
Where will it end? I just love it when military and border control technology gets applied to U.S. citizens miles away from the border. Thanks to Bennett Jones for link.

    1. The only thing that concerns me as a general aviator is all the unmanned traffic. Those suited up video geeks sitting in some easy chair handling a joy stick are safely removed from any midair collision. As far as the spying part, that's nothing new. High altitude manned aircraft and satellites had the capability to look down on a Nat's rear end for decades. International borders didn't mattered.

  2. Just as the miniaturization and cost of memory have delivered the drone era, they will enable a near flawless era of desirable separation between craft aloft. I support this trend, just as much as I support the use of surveillance cameras in areas where criminality is a problem. If we aren't able or willing to control our population growth, then we have no choice.
