Many Americans don't trust Obama when it comes to guns & Second Amendment

Gun sales have gone bonkers since Obama took over the White House. Another vote of confidence for the Pres.

  1. His "bitter clingers" statement in San Francisco and votes against reasonable gun laws (when he didn't vote "present") in Illinois tell people something. I would be certain his closest advisers (such as Valerie Jarrett, a board member on the anti-gun Joyce Foundation) are all overwhelmingly pro gun control.

  2. Obama changes his tune with his audience. He's actually convinced gun owning democrats that he's pro-second amendment. Instead of listening to his cheap political talk, however, folks need to watch who he appoints. He's surrounded himself with virulent anti-gunners. Obama's the hook while they close the deal. Good-bye individual gun rights. Our country may not survive another four years of his subversive policies.

  3. As a legal carry, multiple handgun owner and independent, I would ask the alarmists to show me some change in my ability to own, obtain, or carry a firearm. Is it possible that the NRA (I'm a member) is fanning the flame of controversy to grow and prosper as a "savior organization"? I suspect that the increased sales are a reflection of cultural bigotry more than demonstrable erosion of gun rights.

  4. It's naive to think the current administration is not at work in direct and indirect capacities to undermine the 2nd Amendment. Alarmists are probably alarmed not because of cultural bigotry but because of Fast and Furious, SCOTUS appointments, etc.

I would be more concerned about the cultural bigotry and influence of DC pols and East Coast thinking.
