Obama's Hypocrisy on PAC's, Citizens United and the First Amendment.
Obama openly criticized the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Citizen's United and the allegedly corrupting and corrosive influences of super PACS. Now he apparently thinks super PACS are OK when they support the right candidates (Obama and Dems).

As Justice Samuel A. Alito would say, "not true."
ReplyDeleteAs I've learned reading The origins of the necessary and proper clause by G. Lawson, et al., Obama, the social activist supreme justices, Reid and Pelosi's crew all fail to understand and/or appreciate the principle of reasonableness in terms of their constitutionally limited roles. Who are they to use their office as leverage to favor only socialist wannabes, big labor unions and crony-capitalist super PACs? The NRA is one advocacy group that gives me any say at the national level. Arrogant, self-promoting social progressive politicos and bureaucrats just don't listen nor learn. PACs do make a difference turning the table on corrupt and/or subversive politicians. Obama fits both categories. The U.S. won't survive another four years of his "reign".
ReplyDeleteRegarding the reasonableness and legality of current legislation in DC, it is very telling when responses by Pelosi regarding Obamacare run from "Are you serious?" to "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it." Partisan politics often trump the oath to protect and uphold the Constitution.
