More CYA from House Democrats on BATF's Opn. Fast and Furious
Who would have thought that Democrats in the House would have studied BATF's outrageous Operation Fast and Furious and concluded that the DOJ and White House were clean? It's sort of like the court jesters investigating the king. This kind of transparent and desperate move by House Dems suggests that they are getting seriously concerned about the fallout.

It's really hard to believe top BATF administrators would allow their agents to implement a sensitive international operation like fast and furious without getting a nod and wink from their newly elected bosses. It's much easier to swallow the idea that Peolsi's tribe would create a tidy cover story for their socialist wannabe president and his incompetent attorney general.
ReplyDeleteThe Chicago Tribune article was very superficial. Allegations about who knew what and when were not even investigated by this reporter, who seemed to rely on quotes from politicians as some sort of documentation. The reporter didn't even mention the differences between what occurred during Bush and under Holder, essentially leaving the reader with a false impression they were equal in size and scope of operation.
ReplyDelete44 & jr. Thanks for the comments. jr: Yes the Bush admin. had a similar stupid program. I guess that excuses the Obama administration. Yes the article is superficial, but the point I was trying to make is that, no matter what the ultimate truth, in today's polarized political environment, expecting Democrats to impartially evaluate other Democrats is like asking the fox to investigate recent missing hens. (The same goes for Repblicans investigating Republicans) Only the naive can believe that this investigation has any credibility.
