D.C. ordered to pay $1.1 to Attorneys for losing gun cases.
D.C. ordered to pay $1.1 million to attorneys who won the case against its obviously unconstitutional ban on home handgun ownership. First, D.C. government took away their rights. Now it will take away $1.1 million from it's residents. Sounds like a lose-lose situation.

In lose-lose, nobody wins. I submit that the achievement of a sensible legal structure in any society will have a price tag . . . that the correct outcome was reached . . . and that the cost per homeowner is tolerable. I vote win-lose or win-win if the whole episode is viewed as a necessary off-track excursion.
