Anti peoples guns rights talking heads miss important point about Ga.'s new gun laws
Most critics of Georgia's new gun laws call it "insanity," "going mad" and similar names. It has been misleadingly labelled the "guns everywhere" law without noting that the expansion of places where guns can be carried applies only to licensed carriers. Isn't it interesting how facts are omitted from some people's descriptions of the law? This borders on propaganda and being unethical. Of course that's now politics is conducted by both the left and right in this country.

Areas where good honest people are prevented from being armed should have signs proclaiming "Free Fire Zone". Such places create zones where people of evil intent are protected by law.
ReplyDeleteFran Sage objected to the change in the law which allows CHL carry in national parks. I asked (Alpine Awfulunch) what is there in the air of the park which would cause her doctor/lawyer/schoolteacher/grocer to go berserk? Cactus pollen?

Art: Thanks. Agreed. Same problem with licensed concealed carry in college and university buildings. Somehow the environment will turn the licensed carriers into homicidal maninacs. Licensed carriers are seen as likely to murder profs who give them bad grades. Ridiculous!
