Another lying politician, really didn't support open carry
Although she was a long-shot, I voted for Wendy Davis for TX Guv for 2 reasons: 1. Republican domination of politics at the state level further fueled the forces of corruption, 2. She supported "open carry." One is still true, apparently 2. was just a ploy to get votes in a state where support for gun rights is very strong. Another disgusting pol. When are the 2 major parties going to give us some honest and ethical candidates?

Given what I read about the corrupt way she treated her husband, her political opinions about anything at all were of no interest to me.
ReplyDeleteGov. Blow-dry has been business-friendly enough that Joe Sixpack has been doing pretty well. That, to me, is far more important than how the Guys On Top make out.
I still recall the Teamster in Detroit who said that, yeah, Jimmy Hoffa was probably stealing $10 a week from him, but Hoffa's efforts had doubled his salary. Beats heck out of yowling about jacking up the minimum wage for burger flippers.
