GOOD NEWS FOR A CHANGE--BANNON FIRED

Steve Bannon fired by Trump! Has Trump finally gotten the message that he is losing mainstream Republicans (with big $)? Does this mean a move toward sanity at the White House?  Or, will Trump blow it with his tweets.

Altright and Breitbart unhappy. Unfortunately, it may be too late stop the momentum he gave them earlier. At least there's one thing that might spark optimism about America's future.,

In the end, the departure of Bannon will not change Trump's basically ego-centric, white nationalisst approach to the presidency. He may tone down the rhetoric, but the  danger to American democracy and a  free society will always be there.  He will exploit white nationalist anger at taking down Confederate statues, and try to turn it to his advantage.  This is, not however, to the advantage of the nation and our constitutional system.
