Police fatalities up 13%
Although the overall homicide rate has been going down, the police homicide and death rate has gone up the last two years. As we honor our returning and heroic GI's, let's not forget about our police officers. Anyone care to venture a hypothesis on this increase?

Police fatalities up sharply in 2010.
Some of the increase is due to more incidents in which more than one officer is killed.
