Don't use the tenth amendment to overrule the second amendment. Montana's law suit is a stupid idea.
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected with an offer of apology. After taking time to look closer at Marbut's attempt, I have to agree that intrastate business is hands off for the federal bureaucrats, who were tasked with interstate trade only. Marbut's plan is in keeping with the spirit of both the second and tenth amendments. He and Montana are within their individual and state rights. Fact is, no constitutional mandate or law has or is being violated. On the contrary. It's the feds that have overreached.
