My wife just died after a four-year decline with Alzheimer's.
ReplyDeleteWhat do outsiders have to do with this consent issue? If she did not say, "No," what's the problem?
It seems to me that marriage inherently presumes a mutual willingness, absent a specific denial.
This was never a problem for me or my wife, but she offered many and many an opinion to within a few days of her death. Some were irrational; many were as rational as one would want.
Not my first rodeo, either. Went through it with my MIL and with my father's mother.
IOW, sounds like BS to me.
