Lawsuit challenges CA's prostitution ban
A "sex-workers" group has filed a lawsuit to overturn California's laws against consensual prostitution. The group relies, in part, on the Supreme Court's decision (Lawrence v. Texas), overturning laws prohibiting consensual adult homosexual acts. However, from the article, it appears that they are not following the rationale of the plurality in Lawrence, which did not get into "fundamental rights," it merely asked whether "liberty" was involved.
