More left-wing hypocrisy
Most of our elite universities are dominated by Far-left administrators and faculty. They complain about income inequality, equal opportunity, etc. but fail to deliver at their own institutions. Another example of the hypocrisy of the far left which drove me away decades ago. They talk the talk of helping the less-fortunate but somehow never manage to make any sacrifices. It's the middle and lower-classes who make the sacrifices and pay the price for left-wing politically-correct policies. This is an article from the NYT, not Fox News.

This is an easy fix . . . just turn the administration over to the laissez-faire capitalists in the Ayn Rand sycophants club. It's clearly a bleeding heart sourced failure.
ReplyDeleteAnon:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. However, the better solution is not to go to a far-right option. Laissez-fair capitalism and Ayn Rand's version of "libertarianism" would only exacerbate the situation. There really are people out there who don't like either the far-left or far-right. The solution is politicians, administrators and faculty who are willing to walk the walk within the bounds of the law and fiscal responsibility.
OK . . . tongue out of cheek . . . in a perfect world, the best candidates from the affluent would be merged with the best candidates from the not-affluent for the highest performing result. We don't have that, and in a global economy that's a disadvantage. Ideology has no place in this discussion ----- my original sarcastic point.
ReplyDeleteAnon: My apologies. Without face-to-face contact or hearing the person's voice during communication it is difficult to detect sarcasm.
