Great quote about the citizen and the government
“It is not the function of our government to keep the citizen from falling into [political or ideological beliefs that are] error. It is the function of the citizen to keep the government from falling into error.”
Mr. Justice Jackson, concurring in part and dissenting in part in American Communications Association v. Douds, 339 U.S. 382, 439 (1950).
