Another 2nd Amend Case
This case, Peruta v. County of San Diego, is currently before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Although the 9th Circuit is generally anti-gun, I think this case looks like a winner. The Plaintiff argues that the County Sheriff routinely denies all applications for CCW permits, thus violating the Second Amendment. For more info, see the linked amicus brief
This is the type of thing that happens when public officials get arrogant and think they are above the law of the land.
