Anyone who thought Obama would bring about "change" in the level of integrity in how politicians operate in D.C. has been sadly mistaken. The Solyndr
a scandal, like Operation Fast and Furious, is in the stonewalling phase. How long has it been since we've had someone in the White House with real integrity?
Abraham Lincoln?
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to personal integrity? George W. Bush. He did his very best given the unfounded personal attacks he endured when entering office. No, I'm not a big fan of his domestic policies. But he's earned my respect as a man of conviction and character. Upon assuming the presidency, he took full responsibility for his decisions from day one. Obama continues to hide behind W's accountability. Bush junior did make some bad calls, but given the enormity of 9/11s unprovoked attacks on U.S soil, he took charge as Commander-in-Chief and guided America's armed forces in defense of freedom.
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts on W. I have some good stories from some old policeman friends, one in Seattle and another in Colorado, that shed a lot of light on him as a person.
