Crime fighting gets even more high-tech: gunshot sensors and smart cameras
I guess this is the future. I just sometimes feel a little uncomfortable with Big Brother having all this capability. LINK
I'm still up in the air regarding cameras. They can be a benefit in cases like they had in San Antonio: http://www.ksat.com/news/24063832/detail.html. But you do wonder if they are being used for the right purposes.
